American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor
The purpose of this instructor course is to train instructor candidates to teach the American Red Cross basic-level First Aid, CPR and AED courses.

Prerequisites: Instructor candidates must be at least 16 years of age and possess current American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and/or AED certification(s) or the equivalent.

Certifications Issued: American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor, valid for 2 years.

The purpose of this course is to train instructor candidates to teach the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers courses.

Prerequisites: Instructor candidates must be at least 17 years of age and possess current American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers certification or equivalent.

Certifications Issued: American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers Instructor, valid for 2 years.

Title 22 Instructor Course

American Red Cross First Aid for Public Safety Personnel (Title 22) Instructor Course
The purpose of the Title 22 Instructor course is to orient/prepare qualified instructors to teach the American Red Cross First Aid for Public Safety Personnel course.

Prerequisites: Instructor candidates must be at least 17 years of age and possess current American Red Cross certification in the following: Lifeguarding Instructor -or- First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor plus CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Health Care Providers Instructor.

Certifications Issued: American Red Cross Title 22 First Aid for Public Safety Personnel Instructor, valid for 2 years.

Lifeguard Instructor Certification

American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Certification
Lifeguard Instructor course trains instructor candidates to teach Lifeguard Training (including First Aid), CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Lifeguard Management, AED Essentials, Oxygen Administration for the Professional Rescuer, Preventing Disease Transmission, Community Water Safety and Basic Water Rescue.

Prerequisites: Instructor candidates must be at least 17 years of age and possess current American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

Certifications Issued: American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor certificate, valid for 2 years.

Water Safety Instructor Certification

American Red Cross WSI Certification
Water Safety Instructor (WSI) is the Red Cross designation for a certified swimming instructor. The WSI course trains instructor candidates to teach courses and presentations in the Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program.

Prerequisites: Instructor candidates must be at least 16 years of age and demonstrate proficiency in six swimming strokes.

Certifications Issued: American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certificate, valid for 2 years.
