Description
  • Title 22 First Aid for Public Safety Personnel provides lifeguards with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the first aid requirements of Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations.
Prerequisites
  • Must be 15 years & older
  • Must possess a current Red Cross certification in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED
Certification Requirements
  • Attend and participate in all class sessions and activities.
  • Demonstrate competency in all required skills.
  • Successfully pass all written exams with a minimum grade of 80%.

How old do I have to be to attend? 15 years older on the class date.

Do I have to be a certified lifeguard to take this course? Yes, you must be a currently certified RED CROSS Lifeguard – No exceptions!

Is there an online course for Title 22? No, there is no online course for Title 22.

Class Transfers – Due to limited class space there are no transfers allowed for this course.

No Refunds – Class Fees are nonrefundable and No refunds will be issued once course fees have been submitted. If a participant is unable to pass the course requirements no refunds will be given.

No Visitors – Only registered participants are allowed on the pool deck or in the classrooms during training. All visitors including parents must wait in the parking lot.

Cancelled Classes – Safe Swim reserves the right to cancel classes as needed. In the event a class is canceled registered participants will be offered a transfer to a different class free of charge or a full refund.
